Notes In 1881 he was living with a William and Mary Martin at 131, Curzon Street, Leicester St. Margaret, Leicester and was working as a Chemist's Assistant. At the time of his marriage, he lived at 23 Bow Street, Leicester and was a Mineral Water Manufacturer. Between 1884 (1st child) and 1891 (census), he lived in Addlestone. In 1891 census, he was living at 13 High Street, Epsom with his wife and three children. By 1894 he was living in Epsom, presumably having opened the shop in South Street. By 1901 (census) he lived at the Chemist's Shop at 18 South Street, Epsom (see photo and poster in Groups). This seems also to have been a more general shop (and factory behind) selling mineral water. Profession was Mineral Water Manufacturer in the 1901 census. Moved to Southwick by 1911 as he shown as living at Hope Villa, Victoria Road in the 1911 Kelly's Directory. He is buried in Southwick churchyard.
