Siblings William Parkin, Elizabeth Parkin, John Parkin Children Notes In 1851 census living with his two brothers and sister at Lee Brook and was aged 22. He was a Groom (presumably with horses on the Fitzwilliam Estate).
This is borne out by an entry dated 8th March 1869 in the Steward's Notebook of the Wentworth Woodhouse Estate (found in the Wentworth Woodhouse Muniments collection in Sheffield Archives) in which "Mr Parkin" is asked about repairs to a milking cow shed and whether the "jointure" has been made "dust tight".
