Notes Born in 1847in Rotherham. In 1851 census was aged 4, living in Pigeon Lane, Rotherham (now Howard Street). In 1871 census was a cabinet maker living with his parents in Rotherham. Carpenter and joiner and lived at 36 Pleasant Steert, Little Bolton at the time of the birth of his daughter Edith Annie (ID 70). He lived at 74 Norfolk St Rotherham at the 1881 census and was a Cabinet Maker. This was next door to his father (at 70 & 72). In 1891 was still in Norfolk Street with his wife and six children. In 1901 and 1911 living in Norfolk Road with lots of Holdsworths as neighbours. Later lived in Corporation Street, Rotherham. Lived well into his nineties. Died sometime between 1939 and 1944?
