In 1841 census is aged 8 and living with her parents and two sisters at the Coast Guard Station, New Shoreham. Is not listed in the 1851 census with the rest of her family in Shoreham. In 1871 census she is living in Adur Terrace, Southwick with six children. In 1881 census she is living at 42 Albion Street, Southwick, aged 48 and is recorded as a Master Mariner's Wife. He husband was not at home (she is down as the Head of the Household) - presumably he was at sea at the time. In 1891 census is living at 31 Adur Terrace, Southwick with four children. Her husband was presumably at sea.
