Notes Born 1858 Known as Jack. Married Ann Blanchett Barnes (Annie) (b 28th Sept 1858, d. 21st Oct 1932). In 1881 Census is recorded age 23 and living with his parents and siblings at 42 Albion Street, Southwick. He was a Shopowner's Clerk. The photograph comes from an article in the Shoreham Herald on 2nd March 2006, in which he appears with other Southwick Councillors in front of Southwick Town Hall. In the article he is described as Clerk to the School Board.
