Shown as a weaver on the 1871 census and living with her mother and step-father Henry Hague just 7 weeks before her marriage. Shows age 24 on marriage cert, so will have been born in 1846 or 1847 In 1873 she moved to USA on the ship 'City of Brooklyn' with her daughter Lucy. They arrived in New York on 8th April 1873 to meet with Charles who went across the year before. There is no sign of her having returned to England and her husband is noted as being a widower in the newspaper report of the inquest into the accident which caused his death.
